To run it, open My Computer, right-click on your system drive, select properties and click the Tools tab. Click, “Check Now” and tick “Automatically fix file system errors and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors”.

The program can’t correct certain errors whilst the disk is in use so schedule it to do it the next time the computer restarts!

Installing memory is very easy, just make sure you have discharged any static that may have built up in your body by touching a top or anything else that is earthed.  The new memory then just clips into slots on the motherboard.
